My Favorite novel

My favorite novel is Catch Me If You Can and it is written by Frank. Abagnale, Jr. and Stan Redding. It was my first English novel which I read while I studied in CESL (Center for English as a Second Language). The first time I saw the novel, I was familiar with it. Because I used to see the movie before. I remember that I had hard time to read. Because I could not understand the detail exactly so I often confused with the content. Therefore, I read again and again. In addition, my classmates and I usually had examination about the novel in my CESL class. Therefore, I had to understand about it to answer questions in the examination. For this reason, now I understand well about the novel. I will recommend that other people to read this charming book. Then, I am going to talk about my favorite novel.
It is based on a true story; the novel relates the story of Frank. Abagnale, Jr. He was a very famous criminal of fake check. According to the novel, he passed $2,500,000 fake check and he was wanted by the police of 26 countries. He had everything he wanted through the check. He started a crime when he was 16 because he run away from home and he needed money. Before he was 21 year olds, he controlled several Pan Am American airplanes as a copilot, and worked in hospital as a superintendent of resident. He also pretended to be a lawyer under a legal officer as the alumnus of Harvard. Moreover, he taught sociology to students in a university. While he wandered from place to place, he gave currency to fake check. Even though he was young, he was mature. So, he could disguise as copilot, superintendent, lawyer, and professor. Also, when I read the book, I know that he was clever. In the novel, he stated that “I took the examination and passed! I received a handsome certificate attesting to fact that I had been admitted to the state bar and was licensed to practice law…I hadn’t even finished high school and had yet to step on a college campus, but I was a certified lawyer!”. Anyway, he was arrested in France and he was tried, then he was imprisoned. He said that “there was no light switch…no bed, no toilet, no wash basin, no drain, nothing.” So, I could feel how pain he had in the prison. When he was in prison in France, other countries also want to extradite Frank, because of crimes he did in each country. Besides he was held by several countries prison. Fortunately, when staying in Sweden prison, someone helped him and he could go back to his country. After that, he served in FBI thanks to the skill of dividing between fake check and original one.
I learn that if someone commits a crime, the person will have an equivalent some day. As you know, after Frank committed a crime, he subsequently had painful experience in prison, especially, in France. To illustrate, I do not want to commit a crime. It is very interesting to see how the story is developed. And it has specific story better than the movie. Lastly I encourage that people to read this novel, even if some of people already knew this story from the movie.
